MUP was established in 1984 producing medicines, medicinal products, cosmetics, and special foods at its 4 state of art manufacturing facilities.

MUP is a public joint stock company in Egypt manufacturing biopharmaceutical products as well as holding license agreements with a group of international pharmaceutical companies to produce their products locally.

MUP manufactures over 180 pharmaceutical products that have annual units of its pharmaceutical forms as tablets, capsules, creams, ointments, ampoules, vials, syrups, powder sachets, drops and sprays exceeding hundreds of thousands with annual sales of around 2200 Million EGP.
