The first African Medical Conference hosted by Egypt represents a platform for exchanging experiences and ideas to advance the health care sector. The conference allows the conclusion of deals and agreements to meet the needs of the countries of the continent in light of the increasing medical challenges and the lack of qualified human resources in the field of health care in a number of the countries of the continent. The proportion of the pharmaceutical industry in the local market is currently about 88%, and it could reach 100% by 2035, according to President Sisi’s vision. The participation of the group companies during the recent period to expand vigorously in many vital areas by operating a line for the production of medical solutions and a production line for drops, and another for insulin cartridges, in addition to a factory for the production of oncology drugs, and another for the production of biological preparations and alternatives.

contraceptive drugs are currently being produced through Acdima International and Upper Egypt, with the aim of covering the needs of the Egyptian market as well as the needs of family planning at the Ministry of Health. It is intended that these preparations reach 100% coverage of government and market needs. These preparations are produced in the form of tablets and ampoules, and they are supplied to the Ministry of Health to cover its needs completely. They have also been put on the local market to fill the shortage of imported products, at prices to the public of up to 50% of the imported price.
